Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott Joins Speaker’s Panel for New Stadium
Former 49er and Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott will be joining his former team mate and fellow Hall of Famer Steve Young on the speaker’s panel at the fundraiser for the new stadium. Master of Ceremony for the evening will be long time NFL official Jim Tunney.
Striving to raise at least $5 million more dollars to complete this state of the art stadium where the current Municipal Stadium now sits in disrepair, the organization is planning a one of a kind event on Saturday March 10, 2012. Other former NFL players have been invited, but have yet to confirm. This elite evening will feature a gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Beat Giger of Pebble Beach Resorts, a panel of NFL stars, unique auction items and more. The event will take place at the Salinas Sports Complex in the Exhibition Mall. Tickets prices and more details will be released soon.
The California Rodeo Association strongly supports this effort to build a stadium for the youth in our community.
